The Nave.
The Nave in Our lady of Victories Church, extending from the entrance
to the chancel in front of the open plan altar as can be seen in the
above image has a blue and light gray wave speckled tile floor with
wooden bench seating either side.
The word
nave is derived from the Latin navis which refers to
a ship. The nave is a central part of the church, set aside for the
laity.
